We value our interaction with the people and companies in the communities around our factories. We work to promote closer relations with local communities by taking part in events, clean-up campaigns, and so on. A few typical examples of such activities are introduced below.

Clean-up campaign

Volunteer road

For one hour early in the morning of the first Monday of every month, we conduct clean-up activities, mainly on a national highway near the company. Each time, about 20 volunteer employees take part to help beautify the local environment.

Event participation

Ebisu Ekiden (long-distance relay race)

We enter the Ebisu Ekiden held by Bizen City every February. Six runners brave the blustery cold wind as they pass the sash in their race towards the finish line. On this day, we can all truly feel a sense of Keiwa Power as the entire staff works together as one, from the runners, to the cheering squad, as well as the staff who prepare the lunches.

Event participation

Mitsuishi Summer Festival

Every July, we set up a booth at the local Summer Festival. In an effort to support and energize the activities of the local Chamber of Commerce, volunteers from among our employees prepare a menu and provide frankfurters or shaved ice to festival-goers. We also operate a cart selling shaved ice at the Stag Beetle Sumo Tournament, a famous event held on the same day.
